Brooklyn Bears Athletic Hall of Fame

The St. Joseph's University, New York Office of Alumni Engagement and the Department of Athletics seek your assistance to identify deserving individuals for induction into the St. Joseph's University Brooklyn Bears Athletic Hall of Fame. Please review our induction guidelines below.

ABOUT

The hall of fame was established to honor former athletes, coaches and friends of St. Joseph's University. Those honored have contributed significantly to the athletics program and continue to exemplify the principles of sportsmanship and integrity through their contributions and achievements in their respective communities and professions. Individuals and entire teams are eligible for induction. Members of the hall of fame will have their name and photo displayed on a plaque in the Brooklyn Bears Hall of Fame location on the Brooklyn Campus.

VOTING PROCEDURES

For a nominee to be inducted, the individual or team must receive 70 percent of the vote from the Committee. Nominees not receiving the requisite 70 percent approval are put back into the voting pool of candidates for future consideration. If a nomination does not fit the criteria as outlined in the induction guidelines, the Committee may choose to remove the nominee from the pool of candidates.
