Voices of St. Joseph’s

Learn more about the rich history of St. Joseph's University, New York. Watch our interviews with four Sisters of St. Joseph who attended the University as far back as 1946, and experience the fascinating story of St. Joseph's University through their perspectives.

From April 10 – April 12, 2017, 11 honors students gathered these oral histories from S. Margaret Buckley (’55), S. Mary Florence Burns (’46), S. Pat Dittmer (’72) and S. Elizabeth Hill (’64). The students engaged with the University's Archives to develop a strong understanding of the history of the University and the Sisters of St. Joseph. This project was supported by McEntegart Hall Library/Archives, and the students were led by librarians Mayumi Miyaoka and Lauren Kehoe.
