Transfer Admissions

Transfer Admissions

Transfer students add value to our campus by bringing fresh ideas and varied experiences.

If you have earned an associate in arts or an associate in science (with science emphasis) in a transfer program at an accredited community or junior college, St. Joseph's University will provide a block transfer of courses up to 64 credits.

College Transfer Admissions Requirements

If you wish to transfer to St. Joseph's University, you must file your application at least three months before you expect to matriculate. Please submit official transcripts from all former colleges and a listing of courses in progress to the St. Joseph's University Office of Admissions.

Here to Support Your Transfer Application Process

Our transfer admissions counselors are available to meet with you to discuss academic programs of interest, review the transfer application process and provide preliminary information on transfer credits from previous institutions. Up to 64 credits may be awarded to those transferring from an accredited community college, while those transferring from four-year institutions may transfer up to 90 credits.

"I am so happy that I took a leap of faith and started a new chapter at St. Joseph's University. I did not know anyone on campus, but everyone was so welcoming that within a short period of time I made strong connections with the students, faculty and staff."
