Bio

Dr. McBride earned a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University's Department of Teaching and Learning, specializing in Language, Literacy and Culture. Her research focuses on bi/multilingual literacies and equity-based pedagogies. Dr. McBride regularly presents her research at the national meetings for the Literacy Research Association (LRA) and the National Council for Teachers of English Assembly for Research (NCTEAR). She also serves as a moderator to Kappa Delta Pi, the National Honor Society for Education.
