Bio

George Andreadis is a full-time faculty member, an Assistant Teaching Professor in the Business Administration and Marketing Department, and the Chairperson at St. Joseph’s University, which has offices on the Long Island and Brooklyn Campuses. George is also the Director of the Organizational Management Program for SJNY. George started in academia early as an administrator and faculty member in the CUNY system. He has also been affiliated with several NYC and Long Island Universities and has served administratively, advised, taught, and developed courses, particularly in finance.

George has been involved with online education, embracing learning management systems from the early days of Blackboard to the present, including platforms like Canvas. His early adoption of online technology in the classroom has facilitated numerous online courses and certified faculty to teach online. As an online facilitator, he has provided certification for faculty members, leveraging his extensive university administrative work and teaching experience to bring real-world finance insights into the classroom.

George served as the Director of Graduate Programs at Long Island University Post for the College of Management for ten years. In this pivotal role, he worked closely with deans and chairpersons, including the Provost and VP of Academic Affairs, to develop and build new, innovative business programs. His leadership was transformative, playing a key role in elevating the image of the graduate business department and its accreditation and recruiting and advising students for graduate programs. He also played a crucial role in developing several dual five-year program affiliations.

With a wealth of practical experience, George has advised individuals in various aspects of financial planning, analysis, and investments. His expertise spans money and portfolio management, financial management, mergers and acquisitions, investments, derivatives, security analysis, management, and statistics. After a successful career on Wall Street at a major bank, he established an investment management business, where he helped clients manage and invest their money.

George has earned a BS from York College (CUNY) and an MBA in Finance from Long Island University Post Campus. George is always eager to speak with individuals about our business programs, so don't hesitate to contact him.
