Bio

Professor Dazzo is an adjunct professor / lecturer at St. Joseph University.  He has taught undergraduate courses in Marketing Concepts and Principles, Public Relations, and Marketing Research.  He has also taught Marketing Strategy at the graduate level.  Professor Dazzo has held senior level / executive positions in the publishing and media industries.  He has over 34 years of strategic marketing, product management, marketing research, and public relations experience. He was most recently SVP/Publisher for Church Publishing Incorporated, a religious publishing company based in NYC, where he oversaw all aspects of business operations including marketing and sales, publicity, editorial/product development, and operations/production.  Prior to that he was VP, Marketing and Sales for Church Publishing, Inc. Professor Dazzo has also worked for market-leading publishers including Random House, Inc. (now Penguin Random House) and Pearson Education where he held positions as Associate Publisher, Director of Marketing and Market Development, Marketing Manager, and Product Manager.  He has extensive experience in strategic planning, product marketing, digital marketing, product development, new market development, marketing research, public relations, and leveraging technology to innovate operations, deliver marketing communications, and reach diverse market segments. He has worked for innovative and entrepreneurial divisions of larger companies, as well as mature business units.  Professor Dazzo holds an MBA in Marketing from Baruch College and a B.S. in Business Administration from SUNY Albany.
