The Department of Chemistry and Physical Sciences invites applications for a Tenure Track Assistant Professor of Chemistry beginning in Spring 2025. Successful candidates must have a Ph.D. in chemistry, with a focus on bioinorganic and/or environmental inorganic chemistry and the ability to direct undergraduate research. Teaching responsibilities will include general chemistry for chemistry majors, nursing chemistry courses, and courses for non-science majors. In addition, we seek a candidate that can develop a one-semester inorganic chemistry course for chemistry majors/minors. We seek applicants who are enthusiastic about undergraduate education and are motivated researchers capable of leading a project and training undergraduates in designing and performing experiments, interpreting data, solving problems in the lab, preparing publications, and presenting results at conferences. Prior teaching experience is preferred.

Salary range is $63,000-$65,000. The University does not sponsor H1-B visas.
