St. Joseph’s University, Long Island Campus, is currently seeking a full time, Assistant to the Registrar with excellent data entry and customer service skills who thrives in a fast paced, challenging work environment. 

Duties

Duties will include, but are not limited to processing transcript requests, certificates, Advanced Placement and PELA credit, entering course-offering information, assisting with degree audits, generating crystal reports, interacting /resolving student and faculty issues.  The position will report to the University Registrar.

Qualifications

  • Ability to quickly master computer applications
  • Ability to multitask and work on perform different tasks simultaneously
  • Continuously demonstrate excellent follow-up, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Two to four year’s progressive and relevant administrative duties. 
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Familiarity with MS Office Products and various software - Word, Excel, Colleague, Perceptive Content
  • Strong data entry skills
  • Detail oriented 
  • Excellent customer service skills
  •  Position based in Great River. Flexibility to cover One Stop on Patchogue Campus as needed

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. High School Diploma required.

Salary: $39,000 – $41,000
