Clare Rose Playhouse Presents ‘Bingo’

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – AUGUST 29, 2016 – The Clare Rose Playhouse, a community theater at SJC Long Island, kicks off its 32nd anniversary season with Bingo. The show will run from September 23 through October 9, 2016.

In Bingo by Allan Stratton, a young professor has his goals of stability and tenure thrown into chaos by an alcoholic colleague, her hysterical husband (his boss), a romantic poetry student and an insurance salesman with a wife who is addicted to bingo. 

Individual tickets for this show are priced at $15; $12 for students and seniors. Show times are 8 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays; 3 p.m. on Sundays. For more information, call the box office at 631.654.0199 or visit sjcny.edu/clarerose.

The Clare Rose Playhouse is accessible via the South Service Road of Sunrise Highway, just east of Exit 52 (Waverly Avenue) in Patchogue, on the northeast corner of SJC Long Island.

ABOUT THE CLARE ROSE PLAYHOUSE
A former cottage converted in 1985 through the generosity and guidance of the man for whom it is named, the Playhouse serves as a major teaching facility for the College’s theater courses and a training ground for young actors. The Playhouse is the site of community theater productions of musicals, dramas, comedies, cabaret acts, musical performances, dance troupes and comedians.
