Office of Alumni Engagement to Host LinkedIn Webinar

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – January 14, 2015 – The Office of Alumni Engagement at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) will be hosting a free webinar for SJC students and alumni about the benefits of the social networking website LinkedIn on Wednesday, February 11 at 7 p.m. via Join.me.

The webinar is titled, “LinkedIn: Unleash Your Inner Career Ninja” and will cover topics such as the significance LinkedIn can have on career development and the basics of creating an effective profile that doesn't just mimic a resume.

“Due to my involvement with SJC alumni, I have found that there is a need to learn more about how to use LinkedIn effectively for career development and advancement,” said Ashley Bender ’08, alumni engagement associate on the Long Island Campus of SJC. “By offering a webinar, we can connect with alumni who might not otherwise be able to meet with us in our physical location, or who live outside of the area.”
