SJC and Biz Inc to Host Affordable Care Act Event

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. JANUARY 27, 2014 St. Josephs College (SJC) is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with the Huntington Business Incubator (Biz Inc) to host "Obamacare & You: Are You Eligible and How to Sign Up on Tuesday, January 28 at Biz Inc in Huntington, N.Y. at 5:30 p.m.

The presenters for the event include John Sardelis, Dr.P.H., associate chairman of health care management at SJC and the founder of the SJC Healthcare Center for Outreach, Research and Education (CORE), and Janine Logan, director of communications for the Nassau-Suffolk Hospital Council.

"Obamacare is complex, so unfortunately, many who might benefit are confused and may not bother to apply, said Sardelis. "Our goal is to explain how the law works so that individuals can make informed decisions, and perhaps gain valuable healthcare coverage for themselves and their families.
