SJC Offers Online Dual Degree

PATCHOGUE, NY AUGUST 24, 2010 St. Josephs College is pleased to announce the addition of an Online B.S. in Organizational Management with an Executive M.B.A. to its selection of dual degree programs. The degree is now available in the distance education format, allowing students to complete either or both degrees online.

The Online B.S. in Organizational Management/ Executive M.B.A. joins four other traditional dual degree programs offered at the College: B.S./ M.B.A. in Accounting, B.S. in Organizational Management/ Executive M.B.A., B.S. in Health Administration/ M.B.A. in Health Care Management and B.S. in Organizational Management/ M.S. in Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management.

Offering the same educational benefits as traditional classroom programs, the online B.S./ E.M.B.A. degree gives students complete access to faculty, staff and academic advisers. The online format offers flexibility to students who cannot attend classes on campus, yet are serious about balancing their educational needs with their personal and professional responsibilities.

SJCs four dual degree programs, which allow students to earn both a bachelors and masters degree in a condensed period of time at an affordable rate, are offered in two options to qualified undergraduate students. The first option allows undergraduate students to enroll in a maximum of two graduate courses (six credits), which will count towards the students undergraduate and graduate degrees and are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate. The second option requires students to apply to one of the four registered dual degrees, allowing them to enroll in four graduate courses (12 credits), which will count towards the students undergraduate and graduate degrees and are billed at the undergraduate tuition rate.
