SJC to Host Fifth Annual Human Resources and Diversity Conference

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – October 15, 2014 – The Office of Continuing Education at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) will host its fifth annual human resources and diversity conference, Accelerating in an Era of Economic Change and Uncertainty on Friday, October 24 from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on its Long Island Campus located in Patchogue, New York. 

“SJC is proud to present a full day of workshops that can help HR professionals and businesspeople navigate through today’s many business challenges,” said Renee Kantro, assistant to the academic dean on the Long Island Campus of SJC. “This year’s speakers are experts in their fields, and just for attending this conference, certified HR professionals can earn 3.5 general recertification credits.”

This year’s keynote address will be given by Kelly A. Valentin, manager of corporate development and system safety and training for MTA Long Island Railroad. Human resources professionals and students are invited to register for this full-day conference, which will include workshops on negotiation, effective communication and upgrading your skill set.
