SJC to Host HTM Symposium

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – February 18, 2016 – The Institute for Hospitality and Tourism Management (IHTM) at St. Joseph’s College (SJC) and the Long Island Hospitality and Leisure Association will host a networking symposium, Trends in Hospitality: Present and Future, on Friday, March 11 at 8 a.m. in the McGann Conference Center at SJC Long Island. 

The event will include a panel discussion by Geoffrey Allen Mills, president of GAM Hospitality Management LLC.; Jan Marie Chesterton, president of the New York State Hospitality and Tourism Association and Mike Johnston of the Long Island Hospitality and Leisure Association. The panel will be moderated by Gail Lamberta, Ph.D., associate dean of community development at SJC.

“IHTM's mission is to provide a leading voice in the discussion of responsible hospitality,” said Dr. Lamberta. “By offering these symposiums, we aim to educate surrounding businesses, organizations and community members to help promote development and improve the standards for future leaders in the hospitality and tourism industry.”
