Introducing Our Newest Five-year Dual Degree: the B.A. in Psychology With a Specialty Track in Industrial-Organizational Psychology and the M.B.A.

Dual degree option broadens career choices and increases marketability in the workforce

Undergraduate students with this dual training learn to apply their psychology knowledge and skills to human resources, administration, management, sales and marketing. Based on this strong foundation, students at the graduate level then apply theoretical and quantitative business knowledge to organizational issues, thereby building strong business acumen. By taking graduate courses during their senior year, students save time and expenses. More importantly, the dual degree option broadens career choices and increases marketability in the workforce.

Career Options

Dual degree candidates will be best prepared for work in policy development, employee testing and selection, employee training and development, and analysis of organizations. Individuals with such expertise often work with management to organize the work environment to improve productivity and employee well-being.

Degree Requirements

In addition to the mandatory courses, students need to meet the requirements for a bachelor's of arts. In their junior year, students in good standing will submit an application to the M.B.A. program and meet with a graduate adviser.
