"After high school, I decided to attend an out-of-state school in Pennsylvania. Shortly after my freshman year began, I realized that the Poconos were not the place for me. When looking for a transfer school, St. Joe's became the front runner because of its affordability, willingness to accept all of my transfer credits, and reputation for being an excellent school. 

"Five days after graduation I was offered a full time position at the company I had interned with during my senior year. I actually found out about the internship through the St. Joe's career center, so I credit my employment to them! I'm currently pursuing an MS in Social Media and Mobile Marketing from Pace University's Lubin School of Business to increase my industry knowledge.

"During my time at St. Joe's, I was a member of the Honors Association, where I held the position of secretary during the 2013-2014 academic year. I was also vice president of Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society and wrote an occasional article for The Talon.

Did you study abroad, and if so, what was the experience like?

"During my junior year (spring 2013), I did a semester long study abroad in London through Global Learning Semesters. That was, by far, the best experience of my life thus far. I was able to visit over 15 cities across seven countries and made friends from all over the world. I recommend that every student finds a way to make a study abroad possible. "

Who is your favorite professor and why?

"This is a hard question! I have so many possibilities.

"My favorite professor at St. Joe's is Dr. Susan Nakley from the English Department. Her passion for medieval literature was infectious. Her Chaucer class was by far the most challenging I took during my undergraduate career, but it was definitely the most rewarding. "
