The minor in sports management prepares students from various majors to pursue careers in the sports and recreation industries.
 
With three areas of specialization to choose from – sports management and athletic coaching, sports management business administration and sports management marketing –  students learn to assess, plan, implement and evaluate programs and events, and acquire an in-depth understanding of administrative principles specific to the sports management industry.
