SJC Announces Fall Brooklyn Voices Lecture Series

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – August 21, 2018 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC), in partnership with Greenlight Bookstore, is pleased to announce that it will welcome a diverse slate of fiction and non-fiction authors to SJC Brooklyn for the fall 2018 Brooklyn Voices lecture series.

“St. Joseph's College is very proud to again be hosting the Brooklyn Voices series in partnership with the Greenlight Bookstore,” said Michael Hanophy, executive dean at SJC Brooklyn. “For the past seven years, this series has brought a wealth of literary talent to Clinton Hill, enriching the lives of the Brooklyn and St. Joseph’s College communities.”

The fall Brooklyn Voices lecture series schedule is:
• Wednesday, September 5: Gary Shytengart presents Lake Success, in conversation with Angela Ledgerwood. Cost is $30 to attend.
• Monday, September 10: Anand Giridharadas presents Winners Take All: The Elite Charade of Changing the World, in conversation with Lydia Polgreen. This is event is free. Premium seating and a copy of the book are available for $30.
• Wednesday, October 15: Barbara Kingsolver presents Unsheltered, in conversation with Julie Orringer. Cost is $33 to attend.
• Monday, October22: Anne Lamott presents Almost Everything: Notes on Hope. Cost is $24 to attend.
