PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – April 11, 2019 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce the following addendums to existing articulation agreements with Suffolk County Community College (SCCC) that will continue to allow students to transfer to SJC as full-time students after completing degrees at SCCC.
The newly-established addendums are for the transfer from SCCC’s A.S. in Computer Science to SJC's B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science; SCCC’s A.S. in Business Administration to SJC's Online B.S. in Organizational Management and SCCC’s A.A.S. in Hotel and Resort Management to SJC's B.S. in Hospitality and Tourism Management.
“These articulation agreements are a great way for students to seamlessly transfer to four-year degree programs and take the next step toward their educational and career goals,” said Gigi Lamens, vice president for enrollment management at SJC Long Island. “We are excited to continue the wonderful partnership we enjoy with Suffolk County Community College and look forward to welcoming their graduates into these programs.”
For consideration into the B.S. in Organizational Management program, students must achieve a 2.0 cumulative GPA or a 2.3 for the B.S. in Mathematics/Computer Science. SJC will award one $11,000 scholarship per year to a graduate of SCCC’s Hotel and Resort Management program.
