SJC Professor Succeeds in Alternative Healing for Cancer

PATCHOGUE, N.Y. – December 5, 2018 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is proud to announce that William Bengston, Ph.D., professor of sociology and coordinator of SJC’s human relations program, has discovered through more than 35 years of research, that intention alone – without medicine, radiation and chemotherapy – can potentially heal cancer.

The Port Jefferson resident began his research in the 1970s with David Krinsley, then chair of the geology department at Queens College, to begin practicing an alternative healing method on mice infected with mammary adenocarcinoma. His method, now referred to as the Bengston Energy Healing Method®, is used by more than 100 practitioners across the globe — including oncologists — to treat cancer and other diseases.

“It appears I’ve stumbled on an alternative healing method that is effective with cancer, Alzheimer’s and a bunch of other conditions, including depression and bipolar disorder,” said Bengston. “Right now, I’m concentrating on ‘reverse engineering’ the results I get in the lab to make them scalable and more conventional.”

Although his doctorate is in sociology/criminology, Bengston began his research and interest in alternative healing after having chronic back pain fixed by a healer. He then teamed up with Krinsley who created the test where lab mice were injected with a cancer that was 100 percent fatal within 27 days of injection. If the mice lived past 27 days, it would prove that Bengston’s method worked.

He continues to conduct his own research in funded labs. Bengston has written two books, 35 peer-reviewed articles on the subject of alternative healing and has been an invited keynote speaker at events around the world more than 100 times. He will present his data at a conference in the Netherlands in March to doctors interested in integrating his method into their oncology practices.
