PATCHOGUE, N.Y. JANUARY 31, 2014 St. Josephs College (SJC) is pleased to announce that it has received a $1 million gift from an anonymous donor to support a beautification project on its Long Island Campus.

This news follows a recent announcement of another grant that SJC recently received for nearly $1 million from the New York State Regional Economic Development Council to market and expand its new Hospitality and Tourism Management Program. Plans for capital improvements on the Long Island Campus have begun for both and are scheduled to conclude as the College prepares for its Centennial in 2016.

"This is an exciting time for St. Josephs College and I am extremely grateful to our donors, said President S. Elizabeth A. Hill, C.S.J., J.D. "My hope is that these improvements will make our Campus more welcoming for the next generation of students, and will ensure that the College remains a vital part of the Village of Patchogue for many years to come.

Over the years, the College has made significant changes to its Campus with the addition of the John A. Danzi Athletic Center, a state-of-the-art business and technology building and the Callahan Library. In addition, the Colleges new athletic facility on Sunrise Highway was opened two years ago to accommodate its growing athletic program.
