Financial Aid

You can afford a St. Joseph's education.

At St. Joseph's University, we provide opportunities to students who bring with them a variety of valuable experiences. We consider financial aid an investment in these deserving students, who enliven and enrich our campus community with their intellect and talent.

With one of the lowest private college tuition rates in New York state, we pride ourselves on a long tradition of bringing a top-tier education within financial reach. But even with reasonable tuition, you may need additional financial support. Our friendly, knowledgeable financial aid staff will assist you in determining your financial aid eligibility and the approach best suited to your particular situation—generally a combination of loans, grants, scholarships and work/study.

We strive to ensure that each student who wants a quality St. Joseph’s education can afford to attend. We look forward to working with you to make that possible.

"It was a great honor to receive one of the many generous scholarships provided by St. Joseph’s University. In addition to grant money, it will allow me to continue to chase my dreams and future aspirations. The University’s earnest investment in my future goals will never be forgotten and I am forever grateful."
