A multigenerational novel which follows its characters and the ramifications of their choices and loves around the globe from Kabul, to Paris, to San Francisco, to the Greek island of Tinos And the Mountains Echoed explores the many ways in which families love, wound, honor, betray and sacrifice for one another. Hosseini discusses his work with New York Times columnist and correspondent Anand Giridharadas, author of India Calling: An Intimate Portrait of a Nation's Remaking.

"St. Josephs College is delighted to host Dr. Hosseini for the first summer event in the history of Brooklyn Voices, said Dr. Richard Greenwald, executive dean of SJCs Brooklyn Campus.
