PATCHOGUE AND BROOKLYN, NY FEBRUARY 4, 2009 St. Josephs College is pleased to announce that it will introduce a new Master of Science program in Human Services Management and Leadership to its graduate curriculum. The new degree program will be offered to graduate students at both the Long Island and Brooklyn campuses beginning fall 2009.
Designed to produce leaders at an executive level who profoundly impact organizations and society as a whole, the MS in Human Services Management and Leadership includes competencies such as policy development, managerial, legal, financial, regulatory and political areas, advocacy and multiculturalism.
"We are pleased to announce that the program has been approved by the New York State Department of Education and will officially launch in September 2009, said Carolyn Gallogly, Ph.D., Chairperson of the Department of Community Health and Human Services at the Long Island Campus of St. Josephs College. "Students can start taking preliminary courses as early as January 2009 in pursuit of this new masters degree program. It is an outstanding complement to the already existing graduate study programs at St. Josephs College.

Offered through the School of Professional and Graduate Studies at St. Josephs College, the new program builds on the Colleges already successful graduate curriculum, including an Executive MBA, MBA in Accounting, MBA in Health Care Management and MA in Literacy and Cognition.
