BROOKLYN, N.Y. – June 16, 2015 - St. Joseph’s College (SJC) is pleased to announce that it has selected Christine Murphy to serve as the vice president of enrollment management for SJC Brooklyn, effective July 1. Ms. Murphy will assume responsibility for all areas related to the recruitment of undergraduate, graduate, adult and online students for SJC Brooklyn, and will collaborate with the Office of Enrollment Management on the College’s Long Island Campus.
“After a nationwide search, I am pleased to welcome Christine to the College community as vice president of enrollment management for SJC Brooklyn," stated Dr. Jack P. Calareso, Ph.D., president of St. Joseph's College. "Her long and distinguished career makes her uniquely qualified to lead our efforts to enroll the most promising learners who will benefit the most from the SJC educational experience.”
Murphy comes to SJC with over 16 years of experience in enrollment management. Most recently, she served as the assistant vice president of university admissions at Adelphi University, where she was responsible for the oversight of admissions and recruitment of all incoming student populations. An accomplished project manager, Murphy launched several major initiatives at Adelphi, most notably a slate of summer pre-college programs, a new call center and an integrated customer management relationship (CRM) system.
“I am delighted to join the College's senior leadership team at such an exciting time,” said Murphy. “St. Joseph's College is a place with a long and rich history, new leadership and a location that has never been better, as both Brooklyn and the Clinton Hill neighborhood continue to flourish. I look forward to working with a strong enrollment team to serve students and help the College to be successful.”
