Ready. Set. Reopen: Update on Fall Reopening

Last week, I informed the SJC community that it is our intention to reopen this fall. While we are still working out the finer details of this plan, I wanted to provide you with a brief update on a few things before we break for the extended holiday weekend. 

I am very excited to debut our new fall reopening section of the website, which contains important information about the various aspects of safely reopening for the coming semester. It’s important to note that, as news about the COVID-19 pandemic and state guidelines continue to evolve, so will the information we communicate about our plans. As such, please periodically check back on this site for new information and additional Q&A. 

SJC is here to assist you — our prospective, incoming and returning students and families, faculty, staff, alumni and the entire SJC community — and we hope this site helps you find the answers to some of your questions about our approach to reopening this fall. 

As a reminder, we will be sending out additional communications in the coming weeks that will provide more detailed information on the particulars of our reopening, including course schedules, as well as our full plans for the entire academic year.
