SJC ANNOUNCES SPRING BROOKLYN VOICES LECTURE SERIES

BROOKLYN, N.Y. – February 9, 2022 – St. Joseph’s College (SJC), in partnership with Greenlight Bookstore, is pleased to announce that it will welcome distinguished authors to SJC Brooklyn for the Spring 2022 Brooklyn Voices lecture series. 

"We couldn't ask for a more compelling slate of writers to mark the return of the Brooklyn Voices series to campus," said Phillip Dehne, Ph.D, executive dean and professor of history at SJC Brooklyn. "With old friends of Brooklyn Voices and the opportunity to welcome new audiences and writers to our campus for the first time as they premiere their new books, this iteration of our partnership will make an invaluable contribution to the literary and artistic life of Brooklyn.”

The Spring 2022 Brooklyn Voices schedule will include:

  • Marlon James: Moon Witch, Spider King, in conversation with Isaac Fitzgerald, on Tuesday, February 15 at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $35.
  • Jennifer Egan: The Candy House, in conversation with Susan Choi, on Tuesday, April 5 at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $32.
  • Emily St. John Mandel: Sea of Tranquility, in conversation with Adrienne Westerfield on Thursday, April 7 at 7:30 p.m. Cost is $32.

Each Brooklyn Voices event requires a ticket for admission and includes a copy of the featured book. Proof of full vaccination is required for entry and mask-wearing is required during the event.
