Undergraduate Psychology Research

Undergraduate Psychology Research

Research involvement is a key valuable experience for students. Experiences in a research lab bring to life theories learned in class, help students think creatively and critically by working on projects, and is fun.

Because St. Joseph's University serves primarily undergraduate students, our majors have unique opportunities to work closely with faculty on research. Our students have obtained research grants, presented research at national conferences across the country and published with faculty members.  Such experiences are key to entering graduate school and obtaining employment.  We strongly encourage students starting in their freshmen year to attend conferences and seminars and to join one of our research labs. For more information about undergraduate research at St. Joseph's visit our Undergraduate Research page or drop by our offices.

"My experience with research has contributed to the growth of both my love for psychology itself and my confidence in creating and running experiments. Contributing towards something as fun and meaningful as psychology research was truly an amazing experience that I will take with me to graduate school and beyond."
