SCHOLARSHIP INSTRUCTIONS
In addition to academic merit, the scholarship committee considers students' contributions to their schools and communities through activities and service. St. Joseph's University applies a holistic approach to determine scholarship eligibility including a review of class grades, curriculum, exam scores, leadership experience and letters of recommendation. 3rd-party credential evaluation agencies, such as World Education Services, can assist in converting your institution's grade point average into the U.S. grading system, as well as establish U.S. degree equivalency. Please note that scholarships cannot be determined until after you apply for admission. Students will be informed of their scholarship eligibility with their offer of admission. Please email the admissions department if you require more details.
For scholarship consideration, the University recommends that all forms (admissions application, high school records and SAT results [if submitted]) be received by the Office of Admissions on or before March 15 for fall entering students and January 1 for spring entering students.
Entering first year students with exemplary grades and an academically challenging curriculum throughout their secondary school record will be considered. Top Tier scholarships begin at $20,000 per year and are limited.
All admitted students will be considered for Scholastic Achievement Scholarships and Grants. These four-year awards range from $14,000 - $18,000, depending on academic and co-curricular qualifications.
The University recommends that all admissions forms (admissions applications, transcripts converted from a 3rd-party credential evaluation agency such as World Education Services, and English-language proficiency exams) be received on or before March 1 for fall entering students and September 15 for spring entering students.
