Poster Guidelines

Below are three poster templates formatted in Microsoft PowerPoint just for these types of presentations. One of the easiest approaches to creating your own poster is to simply download one of the templates and edit it (i.e., write, cut, paste, reorganize, etc.) to meet your needs. You can make changes to every single aspect of the poster: the background, colors, font, sizing, organization, etc. And remember that these posters are just models and, because disciplines differ in their methodologies, the information presented on these sample posters may not be relevant to your work. In designing your poster, keep in mind that too much text may overshadow the presentation of your findings. We recommend that you also avoid busy backgrounds that will distract your audience from appreciating your work.
