This certificate provides students the opportunity to work with individuals who have a medical diagnosis of autism, autism spectrum disorders or related disorders in a variety of public and private settings — including schools, homes, day programs, communities, residential and vocational training settings, businesses, and related human service agencies.
The Health Care Management Certificate program emphasizes the identification, analysis, and solutions of complex issues and problems facing the health care professional today. Students learn to evaluate techniques and develop strategic thinking skills so they can lead effectively, improve quality, increase productivity, and manage costs within their health care organizations.
The Human Resources Management Certificate program provides practitioners with advanced study of current human resources trends and practices. An emphasis is placed on understanding the role of human resources within an organization, and developing human resources plans consistent with an organization’s strategic objectives.
For students who already have a master’s degree in social work or mental health counseling, or for those newly promoted to a management position in human services, this Advanced Certificate in Human Services Leadership provides a post-baccalaureate credential for those transitioning to a leadership or administrative role in one of the professions in the human services field.
This 12-credit certificate will give you the specific skills necessary for management in the human services, without committing to a second master's degree.

The online Management of Health Information Systems Advanced Certificate offered by St. Joseph’s University develops or enhances expertise in the planning, development and implementation of health information systems. Students focus on how health information systems improve the delivery of health care. Our professors provide a wealth of knowledge, teaching the latest methods and technologies for the collection, organization, use and evaluation of health care information. Health information systems managers are in high demand. The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics projects that the number of health information professionals will increase by 28 percent through 2026.
The advanced certificate in mathematics education is intended to provide middle and high school teachers with skills and background knowledge to enhance their mathematics classroom teaching. Candidates for program completion will have a better understanding of the classes they teach, gain teaching ideas and lesson plans, and communicate effectively and work collaboratively within the context of a global society. Fifteen credits are required to complete this certificate. This certificate program is fully online.

The advanced certificate is designed to meet the needs of registered nurses who wish to pursue further learning and to advance quality nursing education. The 12 credit program prepares the student to teach in nursing programs at the LPN, associates, bachelor's and master's levels, and in hospitals and health care facilities. The program is open to qualified nurses who have a master's degree in nursing.
